To obtain the MQIST degree, it is necessary to complete 60 ECTS credits, which are divided into:  

• 15 mandatory,
• 27 optional,
• 3 compulsory external internships credits,
• 15 Master's Thesis credits.

All subjects are worth 3 ECTS credits each.

The MQIST master's program does not include specializations or mentions in its curriculum, so the title obtained is unique. Beyond the mandatory subjects, each student is free to configure their own curriculum.

However, as a guideline, we have grouped certain subjects to create three completely voluntary choice itineraries. Following these itineraries will not be reflected in the Master's Degree title, but will be included in the European Diploma Supplement. The modules associated with these itineraries are:

• Quantum Computing
• Quantum Communications
• Quantum Information Physics

To complete an itinerary and receive the corresponding mention, the student must take the 15 optional credits from the corresponding module and complement with any other optional subject.
